(CNN) - Verizon hears its customers and is offering month-to-month service plans.

Current Verizon users who have a yearly contract are eligible to switch their plans or keep what they have.

Month-to-month plans range from $30 to $80 s a month depending on how much data allowance you need.

But customers will be charged the full-price of a new phone.

Customers can either pay for the entire price of the phone upfront, or you can pay the phone off every month over the course of two years.

Verizon follows T-Mobile in ditching annual contracts.
