  NWS reports indicate winds during the storm grew to between 110 and 120 mph. Surveyors say the tornado was approximately 100 yards wide at its greatest strength and traveled on the ground for 14.4 miles between Dozier and Luverne.More >>

DUBLIN, TX (http://ift.tt/1zfAPP4) - Severe weather in north and central Texas spawned tornadoes throughout the state on Sunday.

The storms brought large hail to the area, along with damaging wind gusts up to 70 mph.

In Rio Vista, TX, winds were strong enough to rip off roofs and knock over vehicles.

Flash flooding also swamped farms and washed away roads.

Despite the damage, no major injuries were reported.

Tornado watches and warnings were still in effect in parts of Texas this morning.
