HATTIESBURG, Miss. (AP) - Police say a Hattiesburg man is dead after a shooting at an apartment complex.
Forrest County Coroner Butch Benedict identified the victim as 48-year-old Christopher Robinson.
Benedict tells The Hattiesburg American (http://hatne.ws/1uMZp5o ) Robinson was pronounced at Forrest General Hospital Wednesday evening.
Police spokesman Lt. Jon Traxler said Robinson suffered at least one gunshot wound.
Traxler says another man was injured in the shooting, but did not go to the hospital.
He says no arrests have been made and the investigation is continuing.
Traxler says Robinson's death marks the 10th homicide in Hattiesburg in 2014.
